KS DevelopRes Rzeszów strengthened their grip on first place in the Tauron Liga with a confident 3–1 victory over ŁKS Commercecon Łódź in Monday’s marquee match of Round 11. The Rzeszów side prevailed 28–26, 25–19, 21–25, 25–19, with setter Katarzyna Wenerska earning MVP honors.
The result leaves DevelopRes on 31 points, four clear of second-placed PGE Budowlani Łódź, as the league heads into the holiday break. Coached by César Hernández, the leaders have dropped just six sets all season and remain strong favorites to defend their title. Their only loss came earlier in a five-set battle against Budowlani Łódź. For ŁKS, the defeat leaves them fourth in the standings.
In other match of the day, bottom side EcoHarpoon NOWEL LOS Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki suffered their 11th consecutive defeat, falling 0–3 to Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz. The visitors secured the win with set scores of 25–18, 25–22, and 25–23.
