Round 19 of the PlusLiga brought dramatic five-set battles and a change at the top of the standings.

In Rzeszów, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów once again proved they have the answer to the reigning champions, edging Bogdanka LUK Lublin 3–2 after a tense tie-break. Artur Szalpuk (28 pts) was the driving force behind the win, delivering a match-defining performance to earn MVP honors. The loss ended Lublin’s stay at the top of the table.

The leadership baton was quickly picked up by PGE Projekt Warszawa, who returned to first place with a convincing away victory over Energa Trefl Gdańsk. Bartosz Bednorz (21 pts) led the way for the capital club, combining powerful attacking with solid all-around play in a straight-sets win.

Fans in Olsztyn were treated to one of the most intense matches of the season as Indykpol AZS Olsztyn outlasted Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa 3–2. The contest featured long rallies, momentum swings, and a marathon tie-break, which the hosts finally sealed 20–18. Jan Hadrava (26 pts) played a key role in the dramatic victory.
