PGE Budowlani Łódź made a strong start to the Tauron Liga semi-finals, defeating Uni Opole in straight sets, 3:0 (25:18, 25:17, 27:25), on home court.
The hosts controlled the first two sets, leaving Uni Opole struggling to respond. The third set was more competitive, but Budowlani held firm in a tense finish to close out the match.
Maja Storck was named MVP after an outstanding 25-point performance, leading her team’s offense. Damaske added 13 points. For Uni Opole, Hellvig (14 points) and Guereca (11) were the top scorers.
