Dąbrowa Górnicza
Somehow it was expected to be a tough duel for the leader because the home team had a winning streak of four matches in the Polish championship.
The creators of Dąbrowa Górnicza’s big triumph were Katsiaryna Zakreuskaya (17) and Katarzyna Konieczna (14). Ana Bjelica’s 21 points and Małgorzata Glinka-Mogentale’s 19 were not enough for the champion.
Chemik Police’s loss went in favor of second-placed Polski Cukier Muszynianka who beat KS KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and reduced a gap in the standings. It is now only two points behind the leader.
