“We want to repeat and improve what our team did back in the 2010-2011 season when Zaksa made the finals of the CEV Cup and eventually lost there at the golden set to Sisley TREVISO,” Swiderski says.
Both teams have been performing strong lately and this stands as a good omen for the upcoming matches which should be close and tight to the delight of their respective home crowds. Michal Ruciak and Pawel Zatorski have recovered from their injuries and are determined to deliver a superb performance on Tuesday night. Dutchman Dick Kooy is also in top form and since he spent many years in the highly competitive Italian national league, he knows very well what to expect from the upcoming match with TRENTINO.
“We realise that theoretically our opponents have better players for almost every single position on the court,” says libero Pawel Zatorski, “but we are not giving up at all.”
“The match with TRENTINO is of great interest and we realise that only by winning at home we can keep alive our hopes of making the final stage of this competition,” coach Swiderski adds. “We will be doing our best to please our supporters and ourselves as well.”

Nobody expect from Zaksa win this cup or go to finals. CEV cup is not important for Polish league, we are focused on final four in Berlin where we have 2 clubs. Zaksa is a team that will fight for 5-11 position in this season in Polish league, Trentino is a team who is in the top of Italian league so what?
