Poland has made a huge step toward the World League F6, while Russia… Well, the reigning Olympic champion has continued with simply terrible results. Look at the scoreboard – Russia has 7 defeats and NOT A SINGLE WIN so far!!!
Boys led by Andrey Voronkov won the volleyball marathon in the first set – 32:30, but then their game simply fell apart. Poland stormed through the second set – 25:14, while the away team turned out engines at the right moment in the third one. At the score 21:21, red and whites scored two points in a row for 23:21… They closed the set by 25:22 and then easily closed the game in the fourth set – 25:18.
The player of the game was without any doubt Bartosz Kurek. Experienced receiver was unstoppable in attack and he scored 26 points.
Now the standings in Pool B look like this:
