The absence of opposite hitter Katarzyna Zaroślińska strongly complicates the situation in Poland. The injury prevented the player of PGE Atom Trefl Sopot to participate on the 2015 European Championship in Belgium and Netherlands.
As it turned out, Polish head coach Jacek Nawrocki has found a cure for this.
„Skowrońska is prepared to play her nominal position, or to be opposite and she’s in a group of players that might appear in this role, together with Izabelą Kowalińską and Malwiną Smarzek ,“ Nawrocki revealed.
Recall that this season Katarzyna Skowrońska-Dolata has been consistently projected to play as the reciever/outside hitter in the national team.
