The outside hitter/receiver of PGE Skra Bełchatów, Michał Winiarski, definitely renewed his spine injury that he sustained during the 2014 World Championship and will miss the beginning of the season.

One of Skra key players did not participate in two recent tournaments for his team, as well as on yesterday’s friendly game versus Galatasaray FXTCR İstanbul, won by Polish team 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-11).

Recall that Skra had doubts that Winiraski renewed his injury, ten days ago, but weren’t sure before medical eximanations.

Skra consider to contract new outside hitter, the Colombian Hernández, but Plusliga club pointed out that this transfer has no connection with the injury of Winiarski.

Skra will play their premiere match in Polish championship on October 30 as visitors against Effector Kielce.
