POL M: Politechnika without cure for Kurek, Resovia victorious, Lyneel is back

Asseco Resovia Rzeszów finally broke their two-game losing streak and returned into battle for Plusliga playoff finals!

Polish champions took revenge on AZS Politechnika Warszawska for defeat in the first part of the league (3-2 on December 5, 2015) and settled at third place in the standings having equal number of points with second placed PGE Skra Bełchatów  – 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18).

Bartosz Kurek played on a high level scoring 18 points (4 aces, 2 blocks) for Resovia while the Frenchman Julien Lyneel, who was sidelined for a while due to injury, took his place in line-up and had 14 points. MVP of the match was Ukrainian Dmytro Pashytksyy (11 points, 70% of perfect attacks).

In Politechnika, Michał Filip had 15 points, but his team ended two-game winning streak.
