This is truly a sad day for Polish volleyball as their women’s national team has definitely stayed without one of the best players that have ever played in the red and white jersey.
Katarzyna Skowronska-Dolata announced her retirement from the national team!
Experienced player revealed here decision in the interview for Super Express.
“The national team is a closed chapter for me. It is time to build a new team based on the younger players,” said Skowronska-Dolata.
She made a debut for Poland back in 2003 and has played 288 games since then. Her greatest successes with the national team were two gold medals at the European Championships in 2003 and 2005.
