Thomas Jaeschke and his teammates said goodbye to the Final Six of the 2016 FIVB World League by losing 3-2 to Brazil despite having 2-0.

“They played well, I give credit to them. Now we can’t fix it. If I knew what we needed to do I would tell the coaches and couches would tell us. We couldn’t put it together at the right time. They forced us to make errors. They put us in tough spots and we couldn’t get out of there,” Jaeschke said.

Were you a bit confused or relaxed when you saw second line-up of Brazil on the other side of the net?

“We weren’t relaxed. We knew anyone can play, they have very good players so that wasn’t the case. We weren’t handling it as we needed to handle. We need to go back and train hard. We’re not tired, we’re all in great shape and fired up. They simply outplayed us,” he added.
