Currently, two teams from Krakow play in the first Polish league. On Saturday, in the town derby, AGH Galeco Wisła meets Eliteski AZS UE.
Both teams have been meeting repeatedly in recent months during social activities. One of this occations was the Srebrną Siatkę tournament.
This time, the stakes will be higher. After two rounds of the league competitions, AGH Galeco Wisła is in the fourth place, with four points. Nearest rivals are fifth and have one point less.
“We’re not quite satisfied with our performances so far in the league. Prior to the start of the competition I was very pleased with the work done and play in the preseason. In the league my team showed too timid, did not use all of their abilities. Last trip to Torunia was not successful”, stated Eliteski AZS UE coach Jacek Skrok.
About AGH Galeco Wisla, Skrok’s words are: “I have a great respect for this team, based on the attitude of the previous matches. Wisla fought brilliantly in the last meetings. We have to play aggressively and without mistakes.”
