POL W: Nawrocki reveals list for 2018 World Championship Qualifications

Jacek Nawrocki, the head coach of the Women’s volleyball national team of Poland, composed the 14-woman list for the Qualifying Tournament for the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Japan (September 30 to October 21).

Comparing to the preliminary roster which Nawrocki announced a month ago, 19 players were crossed out. Interestingly, Polish NT head coach firstly registered Natalia Mędrzyk (Impel) and Malwina Smarzek (Chemik) as opposites but now signed them in as receivers, while Tamara Kaliszuk (Dąbrowa Górnicza) was previously registered as receiver, now as opposite.

Poland will compete in Pool B of European Qualifiers – 2nd Round and will host Serbia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus and Iceland in Warsaw’s “Torwar” gymnasium (May 23-28).
