Jastrzębski Wegiel travel and on Saturday play against Asseco Resovia on their ground. After that they travel to France, where will play match 1/16 finals of the CEV Cup against Rennes Volley 35 on Wednesday.
“In the near future, we face at least four very tough games. First in Rzeszow, and then in Rennes, but in every game we go out onto the pitch with the attitude to get off the floor as winners, or at least the knowledge that we gave our maximum” said Jastrzębski WEGIEL captain Michal Lasko.
Damian Wojtaszek will not play for Jastrzębski, he must pause the game. Coach Lorenzo Bernardi does not want to reveal who will replace libero in Sunday’s match.
Both teams confronted each other twice in recent times – first during the September tournament Jana Strzelczyka in Rzeszow, and then two weeks ago in sparring match. During the memorial Asseco Resovia won 3-1, and the October game ended with a tie 2-2.
