SER: “Youth European Champs may start tomorrow” says CEV Vice President

The final round of the 2013 CEV Youth Volleyball European Championship – Girls that is scheduled for next March 29-April 7 in Kladovo (Serbia) and Bar (Montenegro).“The conditions are excellent and we may even start playing tomorrow” said Mr. Hronek, CEV Vice President.Read latest volleyball news on Worldofvolley.com.

The meeting was attended by CEV Vice President and Jury President Jan Hronek, ESOC member Luis Fernando Muchaga Flores and by representatives of the hosting Federations. The Serbian delegation included Secretary General Slobodan Milosevic, Marketing Director Zoran Avramovic, Administrative Director Snezana Misic, Technical Director Dragutin Cuk and Mr. Mileta Adzic that represented there the City of Kladovo. The Volleyball Federation of Montenegro was represented by its President, Cvetko Pajkovic, CEO and former international player Igor Vusurovic, plus Nenad Vujanovic for the City of Bar. CEV Senior Vice President and President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia Aleksandar Boricic did welcome all guests on behalf of the hosting country.  

The main item discussed during this meeting were the technical details of the Championship that will be hosted at “Jezero” sports hall in Kladovo – with a capacity of 2’000 spectators – and in Bar City Hall, known as “Topolica”, which can host up to 4’500 people.     

The conditions are excellent and we may even start playing tomorrow” said Mr. Hronek. “We have inspected all facilities and we are very pleased with everything we have seen. This competition is especially important for Montenegro that is hosting the final round of a European Championship for the first time. As for Serbia, things here are running smoothly as it is always the case. I am sure this will be an excellent competition” he concluded.
