Belgium controlled the opening stages, taking the first two sets 25-21 and 25-23 behind the powerful hitting of Ferre Reggers. Poland responded by dominating the third set before surviving a dramatic fourth, edging it 28-26 after Belgium erased a four-point deficit and saved multiple set points.

The fifth set was equally tense. Belgium briefly overturned Poland’s early lead, but Bartłomiej Bołądź delivered two crucial kills late in the set to create match point. After Belgium saved the first opportunity, captain Aleksander Śliwka sealed the comeback with a powerful attack off the block as Poland completed a 15-13 victory.

The win improves Poland’s record to three victories in five Volleyball Nations League matches, with four of those contests having gone the full five sets.

Reggers led all scorers with 35 points, while Bołądź paced Poland with 24 points and Artur Szalpuk contributed 17.
