The Polish men’s volleyball side, ONICO Warszawa, announced a contract extension with the coach Stéphane Antiga.

The French expert Antiga will stay at the helm of Warszawa for the next season as well.

Despite the fact Warszawa went awry in the very finish of the season, in which they even held the second place in the Plus Liga standings on several occasions, the club management decided to renew the contract with their coach.

Antiga came to Warszawa at the beginning of the last season.

But, Antiga’s compatriot Guillaume Samica will no longer wear the jersey of the club from the Polish capital.

The former France national team outside hitter, for which he collected 205 caps, finished his 20-year professional career after the playoff for the 7th place in Plus Liga against Cuprum Lubin.
