RUS M: Lokomotiv let go both setters from this season’s roster

The Russian men’s volleyball club Lokomotiv Novosibirsk plans to part ways with both setters from the 2017/18 roster.

According to the Sports Business Online, Lokomotiv will seek for the new pair of setters for the next season. The starting setter Arslan Ekşi and his backup Ivan Lukyanenko are free to find themselves new clubs for the 2018/19.

The same source revealed Lukyanenko is close to signing with Kuzbass Kemerovo, while it is yet unknown in which team the Turkish player will end up.

This season, Lokomotiv reached the Playoffs 6 of the CEV Champions League and lost in the playoff semifinals in the tournament for the 5th to 8th to Fakel Novy Urengoy
