RUS M: Zenit Kazan earn the 15th consecutive win in Russian Super League

The Reigning champions have scored the 15th win in the Russian men’s Super League, remaining the only undefeated team as of the start of the season.

The team from Kazan had to make a comeback since they were trailing after the first set. In the other three sets, Zenit was dominant side to clinch another win in the league.

Zenit Kazan played this game without Earvin Ngapeth, Matt Anderson and Vadim Lichoshestov. So, it was a huge chance for Surmachevskiy to show his potential and he managed to make it by scoring 21 points. Maxim Mikhailov contributed with 18 points.

Fakel have also scored a win to stay in the race for the second position, right behind the team from Kazan. They defeated Nova in straight sets 27-25, 25-20, 25-16.
