Enisey
Enisey performed a little pre-New Year’s miracle and beat the leaders of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch regular season Lokomotiv by a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-23) in the Siberian derby valid for Round 12.
The team from Krasnoyarsk, who was 11th of 14 teams in the charts prior to the match, ended the 5-game winning streak of the title favorites, inflicting them only the 2nd defeat in the competition so far. The most productive player in the match for Enisey was the prospect opposite hitter Kirill Klets, who scored 13 points. Pavel Kruglov tallied 16 points for Lokomotiv.
This was the last game of the Russian Championship in 2019.
