In their first match in the Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship regular season in 2020, Dinamo-Kazan beat Dinamo Moscow in the big match valid for the 11th round.

After the New Year’s holidays, Dinamo-Kazan repeated the success from the final of the Russian Cup and beat namesakes from Moscow for the 2nd time in 3 weeks: 3-0 (25-22, 26-24, 25-18) in Round 11 of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch regular season. The Kazan team recorded the 6th successive triumph in the competition, the 10th including all tournaments.

Dinamo Moscow head coach Aleksandr Sukomel missed the big match due to high fever. Croatian Samanta Fabris top-scored for Dinamo-Kazan with 23 points, while Nataliya Goncharova tallied 13 points for Dinamo Moscow.

Due to the fact that leaders Lokomotiv and vice-leaders Uralochka-NTMK won their matches yesterday, Dinamo-Kazan remained 3rd placed in the charts with 27 points (9-2). As for the champions Dinamo Moscow, they are 5th with 20 points (6-5).
