Despite not playing today, Lokomotiv became the winners of the regular season of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch. This is because Zenit-Kazan lost against Gazprom-Yugra in straight sets in the last round (Round 21). The team coached by Aleksey Verbov needed to prevail in this match, which would have placed them at the top of the charts with two points more than Lokomotiv, but would have still needed the Novosibirsk side to lose to Ural, tomorrow, to stay at that position. This way, Zenit-Kazan remained second with 44 points. Lokomotiv earned No.1 (45 points at the moment) and because of that, they will host the Final Six whose winners will be crowned as champions.

Despite the sensational defeat in Surgut against a team that was 10th in the charts prior to a duel, Zenit-Kazan secured a direct ticket to the final tournament along with Lokomotiv. Four more spots to the Final Six will be determined in encounters between the teams that took places from 3 to 10 in the charts according to the scheme: 3rd vs.10th, 4th vs. 9th, 5th vs. 8th, and 6th vs. 7th. In case of a 1-1 tie in the series and the teams score the same number of points, the winners will be determined in the Golden Set.

Seven out of eight participants of the 3-10 playoffs are known. If Ural beat Lokomotiv, tomorrow, they will claim the last vacant spot, while Dinamo-LO will be out.
