In the current season of the Russian Men’s Superliga Parimatch, duels between the two same teams for two days in a row have become quite a common occurrence due to a large number of canceled matches and the desire of the teams to optimize the schedule. Dinamo Moscow and Zenit Saint Petersburg are among those ’pairs’.

In a delayed match of the 8th round, the team from the country’s capital swept rivals by a 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-16) and firmed themselves in first place in the charts with 4 points more than the closest followers Kuzbass, having played 2 matches less. It was Dinamo’s 3rd win against the Saint Petersburg (remained 4th placed) side this season, the 2nd in 2 days to which they were led by Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov (22 points) and Pavel Pankov (5 aces).
