“We do believe in our chances and we will do our best to make the Playoffs” says head coach Andrey Voronkov. “We respect our opponents but we are not afraid of them” he adds.
The players of Lokomotiv are in good shape and three – Valentin Golubev, Artem Volvich, and Ilya Zhilin – recently won silver at the World Grand Champions Cup in Japan playing there for Russia’s national team. The matches coming up in the CEV Volleyball Champions League won’t be easy at all but the players of Lokomotiv have got enough motivation and energy to try to bounce back from their disappointing start in the competition.
