Dmitriy Volkov became a new player of the most titled Russian men’s volleyball club in the last 15 years, Zenit-Kazan.
Zenit welcomed paramount reinforcement to the next season’s roster – Volkov. The 26-year-old Russia National Team outside hitter and one-time Olympian came to the club whose member he should have been back in 2011 but then he chose Fakel in which he spent the last 10 seasons.
Last season, Volkov was the captain of the Novy Urengoy side, becoming the top scorer of the Superliga with 553 points. Since 2016, Volkov has regularly played for ‘Zbornaya’.
