The semi-final of the 2021 Russian Women’s Volleyball Cup featured the famous ‘Dinamo-derby’.
Dinamo-Ak Bars (Dinamo Kazan) beat the namesake from Moscow 3-1 in the semi-final of the 2021 Russian Women’s Cup (Кубок России) in Saint Petersburg and will fight for the trophy tomorrow. The Russian women’s club classic, as always, brought an intense encounter in which only one of the total of four sets was a one-way street. Croatian Samanta Fabris was Dinamo Kazan’s top scorer with 22 points. Mexican Samantha Bricio served four aces.
Lokomotiv stormed past the Final Four hosts Leningradka in the other semifinal.
