Lokomotiv continued pressuring Zenit-Kazan in what’s essentially a two-sided battle for the top spot in the regular season of the 2021/22 Russian Men’s Volleyball Championship.
Lokomotiv swept Yugra-Samotlor in Round 12 of the 2021/22 Men’s Superliga Parimatch. Thus, the Novosibirsk side returned to the top of the standings, though provisionally, having played one match more than their only contender for No.1 in the regular season, Zenit-Kazan.
