Zarechie Odintsovo Stages Comeback Win Over Leningradka in Bronze Series

In a third match of the bronze medal series in the Russian PARI Super League, Zarechie Odintsovo stunned Leningradka Saint Petersburg with a determined 3-1 victory (21:25, 25:18, 25:22, 25:22). After losing the first two games, the Moscow Region team bounced back to narrow the series gap to 1-2.
The opening set mirrored past struggles for Zarechie, as their outside hitters hitters faltered and Leningradka’s Valeriya Romanova and Anastasiya Harelik dominated early. Despite a late rally, Leningradka sealed the first set.
However, the momentum shifted in set two. Inspired by emotional plays and strong performances from Anastasia Stalnaya and Yulia Brovkina, Zarechie controlled the pace, winning convincingly.
The third and fourth sets saw fierce exchanges, with captains and blockers stepping up. Olga Biryukova and
Anastasiia Zhabrova’s crucial points secured the win in both sets, keeping Zarechie’s medal hopes alive.
The fourth and potentially decisive match takes place on April 15 at 19:00 (local time) in Odintsovo.
