World Champion Russia got the 3:0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-25) victory against host Switzerland and kick title holder Brazil out of the tournament. Yana Shscherban contributes with 16 points the needed kills against Mandy Wigger (13 points) and Switzerland.
As consequence of the final ratio, the Russian national team pass to the semi-finals at the Montreux Volley Masters, whereas the Brazilian title holder is out of the race for the trophy.
