Boys led by Andrey Voronkov have 6 defeats in 6 games in the World League 2015! There should be noted that Russia was playing all those games without perhaps the best player Dmitriy Muserskiy and without experienced Sergey Tetyukhin who might have ended his national team career…
Still, team’s starting setter Alexander Butko does not want to hear those excuses.
“Some people are saying that we need to call Dmitriy Muserskiy or someone else, but I do not think that it would change the situation radically. There are six players on the court. If you take look at any one of them in our team you will see Olympic champions, Champions League winners, players who are capable of doing great things… We just have to talk to each other. And we will have plenty of time to do that until the next game” said Butko.
