Goncharova, Kosheleva and Gamova
In the interview for sovsport.ru, Goncharova stated that the rivalry was just pumped up in the media and that she does not see Gamova as her competition in the national team for the upcoming Olympic games in Rio.
“I do not think that we were competing for a place in the team. Gamova has not been playing for the national team for several years now, so there hasn’t been any competition. She has probably finished her national team career. I do not know whether she will return or not. It is up to head coach Yuri Marichev to solve,” said Nataliya Goncharova for sovsport.ru.
