Zenit defeated Dinamo for the third time in this season, while it was the 9th consecutive win for the Kazan squad against their Moscow rivals!
This result had no special meaning for Vladimir Alekno and his boys, as they have already secured the title in domestic league. On the other side, Dinamo Moscow endangered their 2nd spot on the standings, as after this defeat they have just 1 single point more than Belogorie Belgorod.
