Russia found the patience they needed for their scoring power to eventually wear down Korea’s defending skills and come away with a well-deserved 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-14) win in the women’s volleyball tournament.
Led by Tatiana Kosheleva who scored 22 points, including a 57% attacking efficiency (17/30) and four aces, Russia persevered until Korea ran out of steam in the fourth. Korea’s Yeon-Koung Kim finished this match with 20 points.
