This is definitely a huge blow for Fakel. The Russian team announced that Ilyia Vlasov suffered knee injury (torn meniscus) and that he needs to undergo surgery.
Therefore, young middle blocker will definitely be sidelined for couple of months.
Fakel have made a pretty good start of the new season as they have 4 wins and 2 defeats so far in the Russian Championship, while they have also booked a ticket for the Final Six of the Russian Cup.
