TUR W: Vargas and Bricio create a win for Fenerbahce, Turkish Airlines prevail over Canakkale!

The Yellow Angels have scored the 5th win in the women’s Turkish Volleyball League!



Melissa Vargas and Samantha Bricio were unstoppable in a game against Ayding, finishing the game with 19 points each. Samantha had a great serving display, scoring 7 aces. Eda Erdem contributed with 14 points.

In Aydin, Brayelin Martinez was the best scorer with 10 points.

In a 3-2 win over Canakkale, Aneta Havlickova has scored 34 points, having 47% in the attack! Seyma Ercan had 17 points, while Hristina Ruseva added 14. Also, the experienced Serbian outside hitter had 10 points.

On the other side, Melis Durul was the most dominant player with 27 points. Her amazing performance lacked a help from the other teammates to create a win against the Turkish Airlines.

Galatasaray have also scored the win.  Hande Baladin was the top scorer with 16 points, while Meryem Boz added 13 and Alsi Kalac had 11 points.

Turkish Women’s League, round 7:

Thy – Canakkale 3-2 (25-16, 21-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-12)

Beylikduzu – Besiktas 0-3 (21-25, 21-25, 17-25)

Fenerbahce – Aydin Bld. 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 27-25)

Nilufer – Galatasaray 0-3 (23-25, 24-26, 19-25)
