Although the information is not yet official, Pasini wrote in his blog that the Turkish Volleyball Federation was chosen to organize the European Women’s Qualifier (January 2020) for the Tokyo Olympics.

The continental qualifications are final tournaments in which national teams can earn a promotion to the Olympics in Tokyo. Just like in the Intercontinental qualifications, only the tournament winners will advance to the event in the Japanese capital.
