Serbia Men’s national team head coach Nikola Grbić made the last-minute change in the roster that will compete in the FIVB Volleyball International Qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (August 9-11) – and Serbian fans will love it!

Grbić has chosen 14 players for the tournament in Bari, Italy, (Pool C) a few days ago, and played the Wagner Memorial in Poland with them. But, a one-time CEV EuroVolley Best Blocker and 2-time CEV Champions League Best Middle Blocker, Marko Podraščanin, became Grbić’s last-minute change in the roster.

This means that the recovery of the middle blocker after the Achilles tendon surgery, due to which he missed out the 2019 FIVB Nations League, went well and he is ready to play for the national team. Podraščanin replaced Stevan Simić in Serbia’s roster for the Qualifier.
