It is now official: Oreol Camejo, a former Cuba Men’s Volleyball National Team member, has reinforced Ziraat Bankkart.
An experienced Cuban player Camejo was on a crossroad between Beijing and Ziraat Bankkart. He chose the latter, which means that the Chinese side will have to turn to find another solution. A 35-year-old outside hitter came in place of the Frenchman Trévor Clévenot, who terminated the contract with the Turkish champions before playing a single game for them.
Camejo was a member of Zenit Saint-Petersburg in the last four seasons during which he obtained Russian citizenship and is eligible to wear the jersey of ‘Zbornaya’ in case of receiving a call.
