Even though he signed the contract with Ziraat Bankkart in May, the France Men’s Volleyball National Team member Trévor Clévenot will likely play for Jastrzębski Węgiel next season.
The France National Team member Clévenot will soon become a new player of the Polish champions Jastrzębski, reported volleyball.it.
There is nothing strange in the news of the transfer except the fact that the 27-year-old outside hitter, who will play in the final of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games tomorrow, already signed the contract for the next season with another club, Ziraat, the Turkish titleholders. Thus, Jastrzębski did exactly what Zenit Saint Petersburg did to them recently. Recall that the Russian side managed to persuade Slovenian Tine Urnaut to terminate the deal with Jastrzębski to which the Węgiel club reluctantly agreed but issued a note in which they expressed protest.
