Brazilian opposite Lorenne Teixeira has officially left VakifBank, the club announced. Her departure came a day after the team’s unbeaten run in the Turkish Championship ended.
In a short statement shared on social media, VakifBank thanked the Brazilian for her contribution and wished her success in the next steps of her career.
The move was expected following recent changes to the squad. VakifBank signed Italian opposite Malual last week to back up Tijana Boskovic, leaving Lorenne with limited opportunities under head coach Giovanni Guidetti. She saw little court time during the first half of the 2025/26 season.
Lorenne new destiantion is Greek side Zaon Kifisias for the remainder of the season.
