Eczacıbaşı Sports Club has entered a three-year naming sponsorship agreement with Peron İstanbul, with women’s volleyball team set to compete as Eczacıbaşı Peron İstanbul from the 2026/27 season.
The new team name will be used in the Sultanlar Ligi, European competitions and other international competitions through the end of the 2028/29 campaign.
Faruk Eczacıbaşı, chairman of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, said the partnership brings together two organizations with a common outlook.
“This collaboration with Peron İstanbul reflects a shared vision,” he said. “We believe our team will achieve further success under the Eczacıbaşı Peron İstanbul name.”
Club General Manager Ali Atalık said the deal is expected to support both the club’s future plans and the wider development of Turkish volleyball.
Bekir Kılıç, chairman of Mia Joint Venture, said the sponsorship was designed as a long-term partnership rather than a conventional advertising arrangement, citing shared values including professionalism, reputation and support for women’s sport.
Eczacıbaşı Peron İstanbul will make their competitive debut under the new name at the start of the 2026/27 season.
