The news that Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul are seeking middle blocker and that they set eyes on Serbian Jovana Stevanović came as a surprise because Turkish giants already have that position fully covered (Fürst, Toksoy-Guidetti, Poljak and Kılıçlı).
But, as WorldofVolley heard from a reliable source, one of these four is considering to retire at the end of the season – Maja Poljak!
Apparently, the 32-year-old Croatian international plans to go to the USA and study to become a coach despite efforts from Eczacıbaşı to keep her in the team for another season.
