The fact that Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul won’t play CEV Champions League next season might change the course of their transfer policy.

In last few years, the management of Eczacıbaşı relied on substantial funds to hire big names during every transfer window. Is the fact that Istanbul team will not take part in the CEV Champions League in 2017/2018 for the first time in a while going to reduce the funds and thus, the course of club transfer policy?

According to the first reinfircement for the next season (not official yet), it will. Beyza Arıcı, a 22-year-old former member of the Turkish Junior Women’s Volleyball National Team, will join Eczacıbaşı from Çanakkale Belediyespor where she averaged 45% positive attack per game.

So far it is known that Eczacıbaşı remained without Italian coach Barbolini who might be replaced with Brazilian Motta and will likely stay without Russian receiver Kosheleva. Turkish giants are negotiating with middle blocker from Trinidad and Tobago, Sinead Jack, while it is certain that Serbian opposite Bošković will complete her contract.
