Arkas vs. Halkbank
The top-seed and also defending champions Halkbank scored a straight-set victory over No.2 Arkas in Game 1 of the best-of-five Efeler Ligi 2017-2018 playoff finals, partially 28-26, 25-16, 26-24.
The match was played at the Atatürk-Vestel Venus Sports Complex İzmir and in front of 2,000 spectators (a third of the total capacity of the hall).
The Cuban Fernando Hernández topped Halkbank with 24 points (75% attack, 21/28, 1 error, blocked three times). Hasan Yeşilbudak made 75% reception (12 digs 75% perfect). In Arkas, Adis Lagumdžija scored 19 points. The German Christian Fromm made 73% reception (11 digs, 73% perfect).
Game 2 is scheduled at the same venue in two days.
