The second-seed Sampo Volley prolonged the Mestaruusliiga 2017/2018 playoff semifinal series as they beat No.4 Hurrikaani-Loimaa in Game 4 by a 3-2 (25-16, 21-25, 25-11, 19-25, 15-13). Now, the result in the semifinals is 3-1 for Hurrikaani, with the next match being set for tomorrow, April 2.

Timo Leikas stood out in Sampo by tallying 31 points, including 4 aces. Antti Ropponen scored 26 points (3 aces, 3 kill blocks) for the losing side. Jesse Mäntylä recorded 87% reception (15 digs, 40% perfect).
