The second-seed Hylte/Halmstad thrashed No.3 Falkenberg in Game 1 of the best-of-five Elitserien 2017/18 playoff semifinals, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-17).
The American Nicholas Goodell topped Hylte/Halmstad with 19 points. August Borna scored 11 points for Falkenberg.
Game 2 will be played on April 4.
