The Buckeyes, current NCAA champions and also top-ranked in MIVA Conference with 18-0, downed Saint Francis in four sets, 25-15, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15 to achieve their 41st consecutive victory. Thus, Ohio State broke the record of Loyola from 2014/2015 season, who got 40 in a row.

The Buckeyes suffered their last NCAA loss on February 6, 2016 – 391 days ago! So now, the next goal of Ohio State is to reach NCAA all-time record of 47 straight wins set by the UCLA both in 1979-80 and 1983-85.

The main offensive power of Ohio State this season are former French Junior National Team member Nicolas Szerszen, Driss Guessous and Blake Leeson while Gabriel Domecus highlights in defense.
