“Every single game in this competition is very challenging, that’s why it’s called Challenge Cup” Hooker says with a smile. “We will approach the return game the same way we did in Russia because you can’t relax and you shall always expect the unexpected. LP SALO may be even more motivated than before after they lost the first match in Russia”.
LP SALO head coach Kari Raatikainen stresses the importance of focus and determination for his side. “I believe that if we play a little smoother than we did in Krasnodar, we may stand a chance with Dinamo. We could win at least one set or even go for something more”.
LP SALO can count on good figures when it comes to the home matches they have played since their first appearance in the European Cups: the Finns have indeed scored 11 wins out of 14 games so far.
