The group comes from a very good round of play in the national league after scoring three consecutive wins to edge Impel WROCLAW, PTPS PILA and KS Palac BYDGOSZCZ. With 21 points Tauron MKS is currently ranked third in the standings. “I am very glad with the result of our last matches” says team captain Magdalena Sliwa. “As you find your rhythm you get ready to play the strongest teams in Europe” she adds.

As they play Germany’s DRESDNER SC on Tuesday, the local heroines will need to score a home win to stay in contention for a spot in the Playoffs 12 with the standings of Pool D currently topped by the still undefeated Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL. “We are in good shape and we hope to keep that momentum also for the next matches” claims Sliwa.
Tauron MKS lost 2:3 to DRESDNER SC as these sides crossed their ways some weeks ago in Germany, but this time the hosts will be able to rely on their libero Krystyna Strasz who had missed that away game in Saxony.
