Piacenza was superior in the difference and especially in attack and block. The match was one-sided: the only moment of stuttering for Rebecchi Nordmeccanica was at the start of the third set (1-4), but Mazzanti‘s team immediately found the way to victory.

MVP of the game was Francesca Ferretti. She led her team with precision and imagination. Turlea, Leggeri and Meijners also had a good game.

The game started after a minute of silence to remember the leader of Piacenza Luca Pugina (who died in the night between Saturday and Sunday after the disease), the hosts wore black armbands.

The match started equaly until (7-6), then Piacenza stepped up and it was 16-6, after that they finished the set 25-17.

The script is repeated in the second set, where Rebecchi Nordmecanica runs in the middle part (16-9) and goes up 2-0 with the final block by Lucia Bosetti (25-18).

In the third set, Bologna has an initial burst of pride (1-4), Mazzanti‘s team reacts immediately and turns the tables (13-7). In the end, it was 25-19.
