Piacenza was superior in the difference and especially in attack and block. The match was one-sided: the only moment of stuttering for Rebecchi Nordmeccanica was at the start of the third set (1-4), but Mazzanti‘s team immediately found the way to victory.
MVP of the game was Francesca Ferretti. She led her team with precision and imagination. Turlea, Leggeri and Meijners also had a good game.
The game started after a minute of silence to remember the leader of Piacenza Luca Pugina (who died in the night between Saturday and Sunday after the disease), the hosts wore black armbands.
